Multiple App use...

I'm sure it's glaringly obvious but...how can I play music in YouTube on my iPad2 whilst using another app!? At present if I am watching something on YouTube but need to do something else on the iPad it stops playing as soon as I press the home button to exit. I'm very new to the iPad so forgive me if this is a painfully stupid question

On a stock iPad,there's no way to listen to music from YouTube while using another app. The sandboxed nature of the apps prevents this,with few exceptions,such as playing music on the music app while using other apps.

Oh, sorry, I hate to jump in with a correction, but there is a way. Here's how:



While I did this Skitch on my jail broken iPad3, this works on my mom's stock iPad2, also.
