I feel like I'm missing something obvious, but I can't figure out how to 'drag and drop' text within documents in the Pages app. I can copy, paste, and delete the original, but I like to re-arrange things a lot and this gets old fast. Sometimes i just want to move a word or two at a time. Did they really leave out this fairly obvious feature?

You can't simply move text around in Pages. Cut/Paste is your only option.

Well, this isn't exactly an obvious feature. Cut and paste is plenty for the average user. You can't move around a word or two on any other word processor. If you really like to move stuff around a lot, make a rough draft on paper with arrows and such, or on the ipad with asterisks. Then you'll know what goes where on your good draft.
