We watched the first Harry Potter and the Philosophers stone last night. They looked so cute! Can't believe how time has flown for them.

Nope. I saw 2012 the night before last. I tried not to laugh too much. It's a little too unbelievable. Good escapism though.

I watched an old favourite the other day - The Assassination Bureau with Oliver Reed and Diana Rigg. I love the banter between those two. My daughters hadn't seen it before and didn't want to watch it. They totally loved it. See? You can't beat the oldies.

I've got the silent version of 20,000 leagues under the sea, from 1916. There was lots of underwater photography, with state of the art underwater cameras and self-contained diving suits, which Pre-dated the aqua lung by some 30 years.

I only watch cute kitten videos on YouTube. I do remember when talkies arrived. They were swell and keen.

I love Point Break, Top Hat, a Fish Called Wanda, The Milagro Beanfield War, From Here to Eternity, Shall We Dance (the original, not the Richard Gere remake), The African Queen, Laurence of Arabia, The Ref (a favorite Christmas movie), Jean de Florette, The Big Hit.

There are some more, but...
