Hi I am a new member. I've had ipad 1 since it came out. Never had issues until I updated to recent upgrade to
icloud.
My google searching and hot spotting is way way off and in a permanent delayed reaction mode. My contacts are not
Syncing and things just seem off. I never had a problem with my contacts. Should I shut off icloud? I really don't need the backup. Also, any suggestions for spell check using gmail on ipad?

Welcome to ipf,

You can try switching it off.
Have you tried restating you iPad? This can be done by holding the home and hold button together till it switches off.
