Is there a version of Microsoft word that can be used on my iPad 2? I often draft letters using it and then attach to my gmails using my old, slow and soon to be trashed laptop.

There are a few apps that let you edit Word files, like QuickOffice and iCloud.

I use iCloud a lot.

But there isn't a MS Word app per se.

Although it is not official, an app called CloudOn is an older version of Microsoft Word. It's the exact same, and it also has Excel, PowerPoint and Dropbox integration.

Sent from my iPad 2 using iPF

I don't use iCloud as much as I thought . It's really called CloudOn.

QuickOffice has been good to me and is worth a look. It's a three app suite with a great version of excel, a PowerPoint app and the word app.
