Medium is a popular blog publishing platform founded by Twitter co-founders Evan Williams and Biz Stone. Launched in August 2012, the service has registered a quick growth, now reaching to millions of users across the world. To make it easier to blog from anywhere you are, Medium has unveiled its iOS application for iPhone and iPad users, just as it promised a few weeks back. Inside the app, stories are grouped into collections based on common themes and you are able to sign in with your Twitter account, swipe through your personalized Reading List based on past reading, recommendations, and favorite authors. Of course, you can choose to bookmark, recommend, and share your favorite stories with others.
However, for the time being, the application is read-only as it doesn't come with the needed tools to create content, but Medium has assured iOS users that a future update will bring these features. The app comes at a size of six megabytes and can be downloaded completely for free from the iTunes store. Have you ever kept a blog, and if not, would you be interested in starting to write down your thoughts?
