Does anyone know how to create mailboxes on the iPad Mail app?

What do you mean?

If you have multiple accounts just add the accounts in settings and you can access them all through the mail app.

What I want to is create a mailbox for an account to store certain emails. I know I can do this by going to. My gmail account on the web and creating it there. Just wanted to do it on the iPad app.

The mail app cannot create mailboxes. In iOS 5 I can. So you either wait 3 months, or create it using the online version of gmail.
