Magazines (PDF) Cover page Show on iTunes - not on iPad

I noticed that from time to time a Magazine that shows a perfect Cover page on iTunes, gets missing once it is being transferred to the iPAD.
On the iPad I'll get a brown page with some title like 11-2010.
