Lost wifi connectivity

the iOS updates have not helped but here is an observation-

Overnight I generally am in charging mode. If I don't that Is when I experience that connectivity issue(still with wifi symbol visible). Of course the cold disconnect and restart will remedy. Am sure the problem is simple and related to constant updating of apps and lost password thru corruption the real issue.
