Hi, all. Appears I've lost sound on my iPad 2 on installing 2 games Infinity Blade & Blood Glory.
The sound lost relates to notifications, etc. sound is ok with iTunes etc.

Hi and welcome to the Forum!

In regard to your question, you haven't inadvertently switched the mute button on. Top right side above the volume control. Also look here too - do the four finger up swipe or double tap your home button, this brings up your multi task bar across the bottom. Swipe to the right and you will come to a control panel which has a volume slide. Also a good idea to close all your apps when your in the multi task bar, press on one until they start to jiggle and red minus signs will appear above them all. Press the minus signs this will close your apps completely not delete them. It's a good idea to do this regularly to keep your iPad running smoothly, I do mine each night. Also if an app plays up this is how to close it completely, now see if you have sound. If not get back to us and we'll advise on other tips to do.

Please post only one thread with your issue as per Forum Rules. Your other thread has been deleted!

Hi, I have lost the actual volume control. Sound works ok when test it in General but the volume selector on the slider has disappeared. Also no sound when play music. Mute is not on. Any ideas would be gratefully accepted! Thanks
