Just recently purchased 4 iPad 2's. Would like to make them even more useful for my kids. One way in particular is for homework on the go. My daughter has a MacBook Pro laptop that currently runs Microsoft Office 2008 for Mac (Version 12.3.2). We are often on the go and I would like for her to be able to work on her documents and power points on her iPad then be able to transfer them to her laptop or our home iMac, or her teacher's computer when necessary.

Is there an office suite for iPad2 that is compatible with this version of Microsoft Office?

FYI....please make answers fairly simple. I enjoy my computers, etc but am still a bit technology illiterate (terminology). Always learning.......

Thanks!!

There are already forum threads on this subject. Try a search. Several Office look-a-likes. They vary in just how like MS, but each have good features. You will have to pay though. It is rumoured that Microsft mey be launching an iPad Office, but not confirmed.

Reliably informed that Microsoft are in the process of submitting the new Office suit for iPad to Apple app store, so hopefully it should soon be available.

Look at OnLive Desktop. It's free and has full versions of MS Office 2010. It's pretty sweet.
