Looking for an excel app for my Ipad2!

Hi I am struggling with the lack op options and function of the HD Quickoffice Pro app.
I was told that Microsoft will release an Excel app for the IPad close to the end of the year(2011).Can't find it!

Considering Apple has it's own spreadsheet app, Numbers, I would be surprised too. Of course, now with Steve gone, who knows what Apple will do in the future.

Boy ALL! I would be SHOCKED if Bill & gang released any Apple app to integrate with their Office software w/ the Mac or other Apple mobile devices!

If the OP wants an Excel equivalent, then I agree to look at Numbers - own it myself and works well (certainly not as powerful as a desktop program) -
