1. Due to the recent site upgrade, the iPadForums (iPF) App will no longer work. The new iPadForums.net website has been designed from the ground up to work perfectly from any mobile, tablet, or desktop computer using the built in internet browser. Create a shortcut to iPadForums.net on your home screen by following these steps: Create an icon for iPadForums.net

    Hi everyone,

I was setting up my iPad 4 today for the first time and Apple recommended a list of apps for me to install and I bypassed that screen at first and was wondering if anyone could tell me what apps they were?

    Thank you !

No idea, but I can point you in the direction of some decent apps that I consider to be must haves.

    FREE.

    iBooks
    Remote
    Skype
    YouTube
    Google

    CHEAP

    Pages
    Numbers
    Keynote

Also, keep an eye on our Apps Gone Free section, where we feature apps that usually cost money, but which are free for a limited period.

Anyone else's selection of apps will probably be of limited use to you. It really depends on what you intend to use your iPad for, so I wouldn't worry too much about missing Apple's recommendations.
