Letter "d" is gone from keyboard on ipad 2

I have an ipad 2. It is not jail broken or have any non apple modifications. The letter "d" is missing on the keyboard and has been replaced with a ":" (colon). Has anyone heard of this? Can it be fixed?

Never heard of that one. Can you post a screen shot or photo? Did you reboot?

Can you try to press the .?123 button. See of the colon will disappear and bring back the D. Otherwise, have you tried to do a soft reset of your device to see if that helps?


Third is to do a soft reset by holding the power switch and home button together until you see the apple logo. Hope that helps!

Edit...just saw that you did try a reset.

I tried the .123 and then rebooted again. My "d" has returned!!
