Good news for Batman lovers! The App Store just got a new addition today. It’s the latest Lego game that has become available for the users of the iOS platform.

The game is entitled Lego Batman: DC Super Heroes and comes from the Lego games family like the popular Lego Harry Potter. The main characters are, of course, Batman and Robin – and both of them are trying to do what they do best – protect their beloved Gotham City from your favorite villains like The Joker, Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, Penguin, Catwoman and Lex Luthor.

Managing Director of the releasing company, TT Games Publishing stated:

“TT Games once again brings the award-winning LEGO Batman action to gamers on the go. We’re excited to extend the fun, family-friendly adventure to iOS."

But the game gets a little sidetracked from the original story line and adds some other loved characters taken from the world of comic books. So get ready to meet Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, The Flash, Aquaman, Green Arrow, Cyborg and Hawkman. But these superheroes don’t come for free. You can unlock them as you play and purchase the game.

The game is supposedly the first Lego for iOS that features actually talking characters. Watch out for the character’s iconic lines!

Lego Batman: DC Super Heroes is available for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad that have iOS 5.1 and later installed on them. To get the app head on to the Apple App Store and purchase it for $4.99.
