Launching Skype from another app

Hi everyone

I'm just wondering if it's possible to launch Skype from a URL?

I have an app called uRemote which is a home theatre controller installed on an iPad2 and a client wants to be able to launch Skype (also installed on the iPad) from inside uRemote (ie a button). The only "external functionality" that uRemote has is embedded URLs. I was wondering if there's a way to get a path of the Skype launcher and enter that in as the URL?

You could try the URL:


callto://YourUserName


if that doesn't work then no you can't.
