Keynote

I enjoy creating presentations using keynote, it can be much more straightforward than powerpoint. I cannot figure out how to add music to my presentations, can anybody help? Also, I have a folder on my PC hard drive containing hundreds of powerpoint backgrounds, how can I import some of these to keynote on my i-pad, or even create new backgrounds from photo library?

You can only play Keynote audio if it's already in an imported presentation - i.e. prepared on a PC or Mac. There is no way to directly add audio from within Keynote itself. As far as I'm aware there is no way to import additional backgrounds. The only 'workaround' is to have a number of blank presentations with these backgrounds in and then, when you want to use them, put that particular background as the focus and press 'New' and then choose 'Duplicate'
