Keyboard

I have been looking for an app to use my iPad 2 as a keyboard for my smart tv? I thought I'd found a couple but I'm not so sure! Any ideas anyone?

I should add its a Samsung tv. I can buy the specific remote that has a keyboard but would like to keep everything in one place? I could also go down the route of a wireless keyboard connecting via a USB, would be good to be able to use the iPad though.

Did you ever find the answer to your question regarding using the iPad as a keyboard for the Samsung Smart TV? If so, would be great, if you could share it, as I have the same question... Cheers,
