While looking at the Top Grossing Apps in the App Store I noticed a number of Free Apps listed. I wonder how a free app can be top grossing? Probably top number of downloads?

There are two lists of most popular apps -- the freebies and the ones that cost.

The app itself might be free, but have in-app purchase or subscriptions. Those count towards the Top Grossing list.
