Just Bought an IPad

Hello. Been lurking these forums for a couple months now. Just bought a used IPad with the warranty still intact. Verified through the apple support website that it expires February of next year. I googled, "transferring iPad warranty" and it seems you can but how does that work? Should I call if and when the device breaks or give them a call now to change the name on the product registration (that's if the guy ever registered it at least)?

I've own android devices before and almost bought an android tablet. One thing I can see right away is that it's a lot easier to type on iOS. Not just the size of the keys but there is virtually no lag when I type fast.

Anyways, just saying hi!
