When are we going to stop calling our own industries 'evil', sanctioning them and exporting them to other countries (such as the computer, auto, oil, and energy industries)? At some point we become a 'taker' nation instead of a 'maker' nation and that's the crossroads we are at right now.

When they stop being narcissistic greedy behemoths willing to exploit and extract every penny they can out of the masses that support them in the first place.

We don`t "export" our industry our corporations "export" our industry in order to wring every penny out of their products often intentionally at the expense of the quality of said products.

Your comments are exactly the reason why our economy is in decline. There is no such thing as a greedy company. Companies exist to MAKE MONEY for their owners and investors. If you disagree with the price of a product or the way a company does business YOU DONT HAVE TO BUY IT.

When the US dropped import tariffs and the unions demanded salaries and pensions that were on par with engineers, can you blame industry for going outside of the USA for manufacturing?? If non US companies have a price advantage, there is no way a company that makes products here can compete. Add to that the environmental regulations and the payroll taxes, etc and it's easy to understand why everything is made outside of the USA now. Do you really think that we can compete with china on price making solar panels or high tech batteries in the USA?? The green economy is a wealth redistribution scam and it's going to tank our government like it did to Europe.
