Jailbreaking iPad 1

Has anyone "jailbroken" an iPad1 and updated to iO6?...I saw a video on ZD Net which showed how to do do it and I would like to know if you were successful.

You can't install iOS 6 on an iPad 1, no matter what method you try. Additionally, hardware limitations of the iPad 1 would preclude proper running of iOS 6, even if Apple allowed you to update.

That video explains how to jailbreak a device on iOS 5.1.1 using redsn0w. There's nothing there about upgrading an iPad 1 to iOS 6.
