jailbreak question please

hi im using ipad 1 on ios5,what i like to know is there an untethetred jb out yet,ive read on forum but get conflicting reports,thanks

You must have been reading the wrong forum, because it has never been said that there is an UNtethered jailbreak for the iPad1 on iOS5.

There are rumours one is in the works, and probably close, but none yet.

Keep reading this forum for the latest (I am sure thousands of threads will spontaneously appear once an untethered jailbreak is available).

IOW, there'll be no confusion - it'll definitely be known.
