I tried to install iTunes on my PC this morning. It ran for 5-10 minutes or so, then stopped with this message:

FWIW, the other two windows I was able to display contained the following technical stuff:

    http://dl.dropbox.com/u/4019461/IiTunes-Setupproblem-2.jpg
    http://dl.dropbox.com/u/4019461/IiTunes-Setupproblem-3.jpg

Can anyone help me to isolate and fix the problem please?

BTW, where is the setup program processing all the files? I didn't specify a particular target. I'm wondering if some sort of corrupt file could cause this? But surely it should be able to cope with that possibility?

If it were me, I will just reinstall everything. But that's just me .

Thanks. That's what I ended up doing, after methodically uninstalling all iTunes and Quicktime components. Seems to be OK now.
