iTunes gift card ?

This may sound like a silly question, but here goes. I have been using my credit card, to purchase apps. My wife picked me up a gift card for iTunes, how do I ebsure furture purchases are going against the gift card credits and not my credit card? I new to iTunes, so go easy on me.

iTunes will automatically charge against any iTunes Card balance on the account before it charges the credit card attached to the account. It will show up in an email receipt as Store Credit. You can redeem any number of iTunes cards you want and build up the balance.
