    everything was okay until yesterday.i.e. My library was the same on both. Today all my music will play on laptop, but, lots of my music on iPad will not play and has a red square to the right of ipad screen, also the ones that don't play have from black to grey titles. Can anyone help me please.

    Hi, welcome to iPF! Press Home and Power button at the same time. You'll hear a shutter sound when the screenshot is taken, you'll find the picture in Photo/Camera Roll.

    . I seem to have done it myself now.

    Can anyone explain what the red squares are doing there as they will play on my laptop but not on my i pad. The titles are also grey instead of black on the ones that won't play. I have my lap top synced with my I pad on itunes, and they all used to play on this. Can anyone help me please. Thank you.

    It looks like these songs were not really synced to your iPad.

    When you go to Playlists, is there a "Download All" button? If you find it, tap it.

    Don't know what I did, but I did it. Thanks for all your help. This is the only problem I have had. Let's hope all is well now.
