I suppose some people's opinions on this subject will be biased since this is an ipad forum, but I figured I'd ask anyway.

Are there any benefits to owning both?

Depends on what you want to do. If you feel limited by iPad even after jailbreaking, seems to me it would be good to get an Android device, too.

Or maybe you just like a lot of gadgets. That can be fun.

I've got a couple of Android devices that I like, and several iDevices. I like them all for different reasons -- ones that might be unimportant to other people, but they make me happy, and that's what counts.

I'm probably going to get a full-size Samsung Galaxy tablet next, partly because I want to load stuff easily without iTunes and use SD cards. But I still like my iPads a lot, and I'm waiting to see whether Apple will tempt me with something else cool.

I'm an easy customer -- I want to be tempted and I'm ready to buy if I am. And I don't care about brand or platform, so all comers are welcome to tempt me into parting with my money, lol.
