    According to a recent report from Intermedia, an email management company that provides services for small & medium business clients, 190,000 iPhones and iPads were activated on its network in the first ten months of 2013. One the second place we find Samsung, with only 29,000 activations.

    Intermedia’s annual "2013 Small + Medium Business Mobile Trends Report" says that Apple’s iPhones and iPads have represented 76 percent of the total activations for the period between January and October this year. Intermedia delivers integrated email, calendars, contacts and other business tools to nearly 700,000 enterprise users all over the world, so the activation numbers should be considered to be close to reality.

    Motorola took the third place with over 13,800 activations over the same period. The report also notes that the iPhone 5s has seen 6,906 activations compared to only 1,521 for the iPhone 5c. Overall, the SMB mobile market is expanding, with the total number of device activations increasing from 217,050 in 2012 to 249,872 devices in 2013.
