I have this iPhone, and it some how went into recovery mode and came to the screen where the USB cable and the iTunes logo appears. I just tried restoring it but i get an error and it says it can't restore the phone, how else can i kick the iPhone out of recovery mode? Or is there any thing else i can try/do?

PLEASE HELP.:(

Thank-you

1. This is an iPad forum.
2. You are asking about an iPhone.
3. Why are you asking about an iPhone on an iPad forum?
4. There is an iPhone forum.
5. iphoneforums.net
6. Go check it out. :)

I will offer a little help. Was the iPhone jailbroken? If so, put it into DFU mode and then restore.

Plug it into the computer.
Open iTunes.
Turn the iPhone off.
Press and hold the power button for 3 sec.
Release.
Press and hold power and home button for 10 sec.
Release power, but KEEP HOLDING HOME button for at least 20 sec.
iTunes should recognize the device in restore mode.

We really like it when you search / read the forums before asking questions! There is a sticky on the subject in this section....

However, for your problem it looks like you should download TinyUmbrella (search!), connect the phone, and then press the "Exit Recovery" button...
