I imported a document from Word into iPages. It was an invoice i created. But after i did the and went to view it in iPages all the fields had snapped to the left instead of staying where i had placed them in Word. I tried everything to place them back where they belong but they just snap back to the left. No matter what i do i can't get them to stay where i place them in iPages.

    Any suggestions?

    Try this.

Select the field by tapping on it once. Tap on the info icon. It's the circle with an i in it at the top. Choose the arraign tab and select Wrap. Now turn off the Move with Text. You can also experiment with the other wrap options.

No problem. Had the same problem a few days back trying to get pictures to move where I wanted them, so it was fresh in my memory.

I learn something new everyday from twerppoet - he should write a book on the iPad.

The thought has crossed my mind, but as I've mentioned before I'm very lazy. I haven't come up with an idea that is both useful enough to be worth doing and short enough to survive my wandering enthusiasms.
