Ipad's database

Hi all, I hope someone could help me out here. Does Ipad has any free database that I can work with? Is sql compatible with Ipad? And how do I set up the connection? Assume that my ipad has no internet connection.

iOS has SQLite and Core Data (built on top of SQLite) available to write apps with. If you are looking for an end-user database then perhaps Bento (not free) would suit your needs.
