iPad3. Newbe.

Hi Guy's, My name is Chris, and I am based in Hedge End, which is near Southampton, UK. I have just bought the new iPad3 to help me with my profession as an Author. I have a couple of hobbies that I'd like to use it for, as well. Firstly, Photography, and secondly, Astronomy. You might figure out that my photography is based on taking pictures of the 'Heavens up above' as well as studio photography. Hope to get to know you on the Forum. All the best for now.

Hi Guy's. thanks for the welcome and information. Hope to be reading a lot of your posts and gaining lots of info. The only bugbear I have at the moment is, Apple thought everyone was super intelligent and that no-one would need an instruction manual to find out how everything works. They forgot about me!! Iknow the instruction video's are very informative, but i object to paying for them when I've just spent £600 on a piece of technology that is suposed to be so easy, it doesn't need any instructions. Bad move Apple!

As I recall (Twerppoet may correct me), there is a card in with your iPad which tells you where to find the user guide but it is pretty small, there are also lots of free Apple guides in iBooks Store although for iOS 6 I think the guide is for iPhones.
