My ipad2 intermittently loses wi-fi signal. Any body having similar problems.
Hi Mitch and welcome to the forum. A couple of things that may help with your router. First is to ensure that it has the latest firmware. You'd need to either do that through your router's browser interface or you can check on the Belkin website. It's possible that due to its age they may no longer support it though.Yes, I too am experiencing the same issue with my ipad2. It began immediately after upgrading to IOS 5. I'm using an old Belkin router about 8-10 years old. Not sure if that's relevant or not. A few times a day I have to stop and start my router to clear it up. I've tried all the other recommendations such as closing apps, turning iPad off and on. Still the wifi connection does not open up again until the router is stopped and started.
