iPad2 to TV

Hi,
I have the TV Catchup app on my iPad2 and would like to connect the iPad to the TV. I would prefer if possible to use an HDMI cable. Is this possible? I've searched the forum for info but search came up with nothing relevant.

iPad HDMI connection kit should do it just fine - about 40€ here in Germany.

The best way to connect to the TV is with the AppleTV using Airplay. You can do so much more with it also and so small you can carry it anywhere.

I already have a 42" LCD TV. or are your talking about some other apparatus?
