ipad2 and surround sound

Can I patch my ipad2 ( pandora) through my sony surround sound?
and how?

I use an FM transmitter that I originally bought for my iPod Touch. It came with a cigarette-lighter plug to play the iPod through the car's stereo system. I also bought an A/C adapter so I could use it in the house and play through my home stereo. Of course, it works just as well with my new iPad-2 and charges the battery at the same time. Garage Band sounds awesome on the big stereo. The FM transmitter is a Monster iCarPlay Wireless Plus.

If you have a big tv connected to the Sony system then purchase Apple tv as it supports both the iPad for streaming via Bluetooth
