Ipad wont turn on

Dear Ipad community,
Recently my ipad switched off and wont switch on again, I have tried everything, charging from laptop, from wall socket, from friends laptops etc, nothing. I took to apple sotore and they told me they can do nothing, not happy as warranty only just ran out. Does anyone have any ideas other than buying a new ipad, which I dont want to do as is onlky 15 month old. Any help pls.

You've likely got a hardware failure in your iPad. Did Apple offer to repair it for the out of warranty repair fee? If Apple can't repair it, you'll have no choice but to buy a refurbished of new iPad as a replacement. You can buy refurbished devices can be done at any Apple Store or at the Apple online store by searching for refurbished. Refurbished devices are a little cheaper than the cost of new devices and come with the same 1 year warranty as a new device.

Try a hard reset.

Hard reset is not possible since the iPad is not turning on, Eddie.

It won't hurt to try. I had an iPhone 4 that wouldn't turn on and a hard reset did the trick.

My 'Pad froze after a shutdown and would not boot beyond the Apple logo. Called Apple and with their help and using iTunes we were able to restore it. Being an ios 8 issue, probably, there was no charge. Worth a try maybe.
