iPad voltage

Can anyone advise

Off on a cruise tomorrow American voltage on board in cabins
Can I charge my I pad safely have kindle all books and music loaded you can charge at reception area but not keen on leaving iPad out of sight

Can anyone advise

The iPad charger is universal; it will accept any mains voltage from anywhere in the world. So there's no problem there with US voltages. However, you will need an adaptor to enable you to connect to the US-style mains outlet. You can safely leave your iPad on to charge for as long as you want. The iPad charger electronics is very sophisticated and carefully controls the charging current. So charge it continuously or intermittently - it doesn't matter.
