iPad tourisme

Hi everybody !

Do you know if it's possible to rent an iPad to visit Paris ? I'm going to visit Paris for my Holidays and i think that the iPad is the best concept ever for surfing on the net in an other country !

I'm asking because when I went to Madrid for a business trip I rent an iPad to visit the city. This tab was full of applications needed to visit the city.

I can't answer Marie's question, but I have a related question of my own. I am planning to take my 3G iPad2 to France in the next few days. I'm with O2 and I understand that my sim doesn't work abroad. Has anyone tried to buy a pay as you go sim in France to use for web surfing whilst in France? Seems like a cheap and easy way to stay connected. I'm not bothered about any other function, but presumably I will also be able to access my gmail account at local data rates too?
