Ipad mini sim helppp!!!!!!

hi i have a ipad i checked on youtube and seen that a mini sim can be made so i used my normal simcard from my iphone 3gs and made it into a mini sim i then inserted it into the ipad and it showed up to be on 02 great. i then opend the safari/internet and it says no cellular data plan can anybody help me with this as i have no idea how to correct this thankyou

You'll need to configure the APN under the Cellular Data tab.

I've not used O2 for data (and now that O2 has killed my prepaid SIM, nasty people, I'm not using them at all ) so I don't know what the APN is.
