If you check back in a few months and search for refurbished in the Apple online store or check at an Apple retail store you should be able to find a selection of refurbished iPad 4’s and iPad Mini's offered for sale.

Check out eBay............
It's flooded with iPad 3 units for sale as people are selling them to get an ipad 4.
The iPad 3 is a nice unit and well worth the reduced prices you can get on eBay............There is no huge advantage to the iPad 4 for most people.
