The iPad seems so much part of everyday life now in the countries where it’s launched so far, that it’s easy to forget that there are many countries across the world where it has still to launch, although I’m sure if you’re in one of those countries you’ve been well aware of the fact! Now, Digital Daily reports that by the end of this week, the iPad will have launched in 11 more countries: Poland, the Czech Republic, Taiwan, Denmark, Portugal, Sweden, Norway, Hungary, Malaysia, Finland and South Korea.

The Korea Herald, covering the story, spoke to Pyo Hyun-myung, president of the mobile business group, KT (exclusive iPhone and iPad carrier in South Korea), who told them: “The iPad, along with Apple’s iPhone, is expected to offer a new and favourable experience for people with the combination of our network and the variety of contents shown in the applications.â€
