iPad keeps crashing

Hi, Nedlog, and welcome to iPF!
The first things you can do are restarting, resetting (rebooting) your iPad and/or force closing apps.
To restart, turn off your device, wait for a few minutes and turn it on again.
To reset, press and hold Home and Power button simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Release both and let the iPad power up on it's own.
To force close apps, double tap the Home button to reveal the multitask bar. It now depends on the software on your iPad what to do next.
In iOS 6, you'll only see the app icons. Press and hold one of them until they start to wiggle, delete the apps.
In iOS 7, app icons and thumbnails (pictures) above them will appear. Slide the thumbnails towards the top of the screen to remove apps from the muktitask bar.
