HELP!
I am trying to install/synchronize corporate (exchange) email but I keep
getting the message that my password is incorrect. What could be the problem? I
am sure the password and all other details are correct.
I've tried with or wihout ssl. With and without capitals etc. I've also
installed hotmail and that just works.

I am sure I am using the right password, I even changed in on my normal
computer and opened/closed remote access with it. But my (new!) IPAD3 seems not
to recognize it. Would be great to get some support!

How are you accessing the corporate exchange server? If you aren't on the corporate network via VPN then that is likely your problem.

If you simply copied the exchange server names from your work laptop or desktop in all likelihood they are not going to work unless your exchange server is not behind the corporate firewall....which would extremely risky.

Exchange has a web client that companies can make available to you that can be accessed without being on VPN. The server name In these cases is a URL not a DNS name used internally by your employer. An example would be www.webmail.mycompany.com. The credentials used for accessing webmail are the same as your network ID and you will also have to supply the domain name on which the actual exchange server resides.

Check with your company Help Desk to obtain the setup info you need. Once functional you can sync your contacts, email, and calendar. Set your fetch schedule to push for real time updates to the iPad hosted exchange account.
