Ipad & itunes prob?

Updated my iPad 1 yesterday to 4.3.5 and now it won't let me add any music. When I tick them all in iTunes and try and sync them, it shows on the bar at bottom that they are there but when I sync it takes about 20secs and then they have gone from the bottom bar and no music on iPad.
Everything was ok until I updated the firmware.
Any help please?

Just throwing something out there that may be obvious, but you never know...

Are you checking for your music under the iPod icon on your iPad? Sometimes folks just aren't sure where on the iPad to find the music they've loaded.

Yea I had music on here before,then updated firmware and now it wont move any music over? Bloody weird and doing my head in
