    Hi,
New to the Apple world. Starting with iPad2.

While reading about Safari, I see 'tap the Reader button'. Duhhh, what does a 'reader button' look like?

Thought I'd look @ a safari page & look. Ooops! iPad Forum is up & I can't open another Safari page!!! New world with limitations here!

    So, to start, 2 questions:

    1. How can I find a 'Reader' button in Safari?

    2. How can I quickly turn off a Safari page & open another? It would be nice to kist have hem down on a bar.

Thanks. I'll look here & follow up with more.

    Bill

The Reader- Button appears (sometimes) in the address-bar - see one of the pictures below. The other picture shows the result and where to open a new tab on the browser. Browser tabs can be quickly closed with the "x" on the active tab.

    Hope that helps.

Thank you, HPUlmer. I'm getting better all the time.
The screen is very insensitive. Have to 'tap' the 'x' so many times! It wud b nice 2 have things bigger, so I could use my stubby fingers.
We need a forward delete & a backspace button.

    Ok.

I've looked at the links you suggested. Didn't see a place to just ask direct questions. The Tips, etc. are good, but don't address the question I have at the time. I would love to search for a topic and see if someone has asked the same question.

I won't ask any more questions here.

But you can search on a topic. If you're on the site there are 2 places for a search, one right and left top.
You can ask questions also, press on the Forum tab up the top, the page will load with all the sub Forums, select the topic your question pertains to and the page will load with all the different threads. Above these threads on the left you'll see the Post New Thread tab, press this and then ask your question.
