Anyone know whynthe app store genius function has devolved?

Sorry, I meant the app store Genius via the iPad.

In what sense has Genius been devolved? It seems to do the same: Suggest similar artists.

Now seems to ignore categories and gives few results.

I noticed the same thing. Kinda liked the old format. Though I have to admit, I've never been that elated or impressed with what "they" suggest. I have tried several items, but can't say G helped me find this.
