Just found this online and I thought it was worthy of a mention.

AirStash Wireless SD Card Reader:

The AirStash is a USB card reader combined with a Wi-Fi hotspot. Its purpose in life is to stream media to other devices, which means sending movies, music and video to phones, tablets and other memory-limited gadgets.

You just pop your SD card into the slot and then dial in from Safari. From there you can browse a list of photos, view them and save them to your photo-roll. Better, it works as a mass-storage USB device, so you could actually plug it into the iPad via the connection kit.

I've been meaning to update this for a little while now. Sorry for the delay. This was the prize I won from the prize site. The stylus is slightly heavier but feels more comfortable to hold, the responsiveness is the same as the other stylus I mentioned previously.
The camera connection kit works well, I didn't realise your images need to be in a DCIM folder at first but quickly resolved this. The best thing is my digital camera plays the same format of videos and images so they all show up on my iPad. However I have 8x digital zoom on my camera and once the pictures are uploaded to the iPad they don't zoom as well as I would have liked. So far the message this device is not compatible has come up with everything I have plugged in including memory cards but I have had no difficulty using anything, accept my USB 'worlds smallest digital camera' which did not work, it could not read the images from that.
Other than that it's a very useful tool. A bit chunkier than I had guessed but it has to fit everything inside I guess. It has a switch on the side for USB and card reader so be sure to use it. Not bad for free :)

Next up is a range of products from Mattel in their apptivity range. You can now get toys such as hot wheels cars, batman etc and are able to move them around on the iPads screen safely without damaging the screen. The toys interact with the provided app for multiplayer adventure and real time interaction. Seems a nice idea providing your children are kind to the iPad :)

I think an iPad credit card reader is a great idea for start-up/ small business who are starting to accept credit card purchases because it's very low cost. I have a friend who started her own bakery business have just started using an iPad credit card scanner for clients who prefer paying with a card.

Thank you for your replies, I like the credit card reader. It can be difficult for small businesses to get off the ground and compete with the market leaders, and I would imagine this could be used anywhere from a car boot sale/ market to a high end luxury store. The stands look safe and secure and I imagine with all this tech together you could make a very stylish till system.

Next up.

The Pogo Connect pressure sensitive iPad tablet stylus created by Ten One Designs for around $80.
The Pogo Connect stylus links to your tablet using Bluetooth 4.0 technology and allows you to enjoy drawing with different line width on the iPad.
The pen will connect to the iPad via Bluetooth, and the special bit is that it will make the iPad ignore your palm on the screen, which makes drawing on the iPad a breeze.
The Pogo Connect stylus is also works with many iPad drawing and writing applications such as Procreate. PDFpen, Zen Brush, FlipBook, SketchClub, and SketchBook Pro to name just a few.

I'm hoping this would be more sensitive to the drawing apps on the iPad, I have noticed before that brush marks can move or change after you have finished with each stroke and it's always a pain when you rest your hands on the screen. The technology in this pen will eradicate that and that gets top marks from me.
Item and pictures found on geeky gadgets.

iPad controlled LED wall light home decor.

There's something about a blank wall that can make a room feel empty. Usually, adding a little art to the space is enough to fill the void, but if you happen to be a little be geeky, you can do one better than that. That's what Greg Friedland decided to do: He decorated a wall with a giant, iPad-controlled moving art installation, called the Aurora LED Wall.
The "installation" is a four-foot-by-eight-foot display, with 544 LED lights positioned on a grid. The lights, backed by wood board, are capable of displaying 16 million colors. A microcontroller feeds the commands to the LEDS, and it's controlled by a Processing Sketch on a computer. Thanks to the software, the display will also respond to music--it'll change colors and patterns depending on the beat of the track being played.

Where does the iPad come in? An app on the tablet, called TouchOSC, lets you interact with the display with the swipe of a finger. You can pick the color palette, resize and sharpen the pattern, control the speed of the display, and generally move and disrupt the flowing images. If you're feeling a bit artistic, you can also do your best finger-painting to show on the display. The app also lets you create custom patterns and activities for the display.

The Aurora LED Wall would certainly be a great addition to any room, and it's quite the conversation piece. In fact, you may run the risk of constantly getting distracted by it rather than getting on with other work or household tasks.

New iPad mini accessories!!! with the iPad mini around the corner, I've decided to add some accessories for the mini that are available now. You can already buy the smart covers which look good. Now most of the gadgets in this section will also work for the iPad mini with various adapters, you can still use the headphone jack as a USB port with the correct adapter.
Already you can find an abundance of adapters ready to fit the new lightning connection including the digital AV adapter. The lightning to mini USB adapter and probably the most important so you don't have to change all your gadgets you have already bought and lightning to 30 pin adapter.
More to come, il find some hot cases for the mini in my next post.
Enjoy!!

There are many package deals like this first three pictures that include the usual, leather case, flexi case, stylus and screen protector, available in a range of colours like this one from mobile fun.co.uk.
Next picture this black and orange case the Tech21 Impact Snap with Cover for iPad Mini - Black also in white gives your mini some protection.
Next in black and green is the Trident Aegis Case for iPad Mini - Black/Green
The white case is the SD TabletWear Leather Style Case with Stand for iPad Mini - White
My personal favourite is the Marware C.E.O. Hybrid for iPad Mini - Carbon Fibre

Now many of the Bluetooth keyboards, headphones, headsets etc will continue to work and may not require you to change. Already the Chinese are out there replicating every iPad accessory and converting it to the lightning connector already so keep an eye out for some bargains across eBay and amazon. Things like the stylus and other accessories will still work and you can pick up a good stylus on eBay 99p for three, and they work great!

eBay already has a few items for the iPad mini already. Including the first few pictures of the rubber flexi case a bargain on eBay compared to other websites so far. Same for the sock cover, available in an assortment of colours and just a few pounds/dollars with postage included so great if your looking for a cheap case for now. Also I included the car charger and replacement lightning cables so you can get a preview.
I'm on the hunt next for iPad docks, I'm sure the web will churn these out soon enough but at the moment you have to do a lot of sifting through google to find one but as always I will keep you posted.
Enjoy

After helping another user on here I thought it would be worth a mention here. If your struggling to find a suitable case for your iPad you can design your own from your own image. Search eBay for 'custom iPad case' and you will find a number of sellers offering a custom case service which range from sticker kits to actually printed smart covers and cases. They are not too expensive either with most coming in at £5-£10 each. Check it out!

I've been looking recently on iPad bags (I know but its not a man bag!) :) It's a difficult area for a man. What do you keep all your gadgets in said:
I got my hubby a cheap knockoff leather messenger bag from China and had a new metal zip installed in it by the shoe repair guy. Works great, fits his iPad, wallet etc and looks masculine. I got it from eBay and paid about $25Au. Cheers Kymmareee

I would encourage you to shop around and the admins are not fans of links directly to suppliers but I have found many on eBay, amazon.co.uk and .com. It would be better for you to search then you can find a supplier that delivers to your location. Sorry I can't help further.
