Ipad emails

    I have a tesco email address and when I went abroad and logged into a wifi in a restaurant I found I could receive emails but not send. This also happened on a previous holiday. I wondered if anyone else has experienced this problem?

    The reason the email does not get sent out is that you are not connect to your ISP that the email account is with. See if you ISP has a email check on thier website. From there you can send and recieve emails.

    Sometimes (not always) going into the Advanced setting in you account (under Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars; your account) and turning on SSL will fix this.
