iPad email message stuck in Outbox - can't forward

    iPad mail - I forwarded 2 messages while I had not updated the server password. They both ended up in the Outbox. Now that the password is corrected, one message was forwarded but the other is stuck. I have seen posts as to how to delete it, but I don't want to delete it - it is effectively a receipt that I need to forward to soemone. At this point, it won't forward, and I can't move it anywhere else (buttons grayed out). I have re-started the iPad in hopes clearing memory would help, but it did not. Any suggestions?

    Try rebooting your device. Press and hold Home and Power button until you see the Apple logo. As soon as it's visible, let go of both. Your iPad will power up on it's own.

    If that doesn't help:
    Copy and paste the content of the email to a new message so you don't lose it's content, send the new email and then delete the stuck one.

    Thanks JA. I had previously tried powering the iPad off/on but had no effect. I did it again, and a few moments later the message was sent out.
