Hello, i am entirely new about ipad in general and ipad in education in particular. I'll begin to use it at school next september and i'd like to know which is (if any) the most suitable place to discuss about the use of this interesting tool for the learning of computer science and physics.
I'll be grateful to you all for any information provided.
    Thank you in advance.
    Regards

So are you looking for ways to use it? Such as take notes? Or teach?

    I'd like to know:
    1. If there are any good applications for learning physics and computer science
    2. If it is possible to use the following softwares, already available for pc's:
    - scratch
    - python
    - geogebra
    3. Which are the coolest places for discussing ipad in education, especially schools, broadly speaking

    Thank you.

There is a Python interpreter. I don't know about the others. Search in the App store.

There appear to be number of very short threads, some unanswered, which deal with the same subject iPads in education. Tap this message to open it up for 2 links to threads.....

    For example, the http://www.ipadforums.net/new-member-introductions-site-assistance/23125-ipads-education.html thread.
    Or. The http://www.ipadforums.net/new-member-introductions-site-assistance/18538-tablets-education.html thread.

Would it help if these threads were put together into a single thread, such as this one?

Sent from my iPad 1 using iPF - Greetings
